If your 5 year old reminds you to “fill out the census forms, or else…”, then your child may have had a little talk from none other then the cartoon character, Dora the Explorer. Say what?! In a “public service announcement” during episodes of Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer, the cartoon character Dora is seen visiting the mailbox. Here’s some dialogue:

Dora: “We helped mommy fill out our Census form!”
Boots:”And we mailed it back”
Isa: “But why?”
Dora: Because everybody counts on the Census form, especially little kids! Including them helps get important things in our town…”

You get the picture.

To most Progressives, this probably seems “oh, so charming”. But I would say, like so many other Americans, “leave our kids alone!”. We have a name for this- its called exploitation. It seems that the Obama Administration has made it a regular part of their process these days.
Its bad enough that kids are forced to grow up so fast these days, now they have to be stressed about whether or not their parents are going to fill out the census form- or else their school may shut down, etc, etc.
